when I first switched on the lamp at 4am in the morning, I couldn't figure out what was in my room. I thought maybe a bug within my rubbish bag, but once I took it out, the sound continued. Only the 2nd time I turned my lamp on, did I see a brown furry rodent running around on the floor. I must admit, I was a little freaked out. I've never seen a mouse inside my living area before.
so yesterday, I set a mouse trap, and stuffed the crack of my door with clothing so it wouldn't get into my room at least. I slept soundly, thinking I would get my nice rest. Then I awoke at 3am to hear the same rustling noise, to find SOMEHOW the mouse had gotten back in. AND to top it off, it ate the cheese on the trap without setting it off. So I've pretty much FED this mouse twice in a row.
well no more. besides putting a firm raisin on the mouse trap, behold my own trap:
yup, it's a bucket lined with aluminium foil, with a plastic bag filled with more foil and plastic, with bits of cheese scattered around and a big chunk hidden at the end.
my plan is to wake myself to the yet again rustling of the foil and plastic, and simply tip the bucket upwards. Since the bucket will shield my movement from the mouse, I'm about %60 confident of this plan...
hopefully it'll just trip the mouse trap.
teoh,
