degrees or radians

okay, so we were doing group work at uni today. and I got totally owned by my friend simon.

in excel, we were making calculations, and I realised (quite belatedly) that excel works in radians. Silly Microsoft. So I go into options to try and change it, when I'm challenged by my friend to stop!

radians is so much easier to work in! he claims.
hah! I retort. as if! you can picture degrees so much more easily!

This went on for a few minutes before I confidently put forth a task for him to draw what 2 radians were! Yeah sure, this will get him, I thought, as I had no idea what 2 radians looked like myself. While he prepares to draw, he throws me a 'draw 2 degrees!'.

I drew a 10 degree angle.
He drew a 2.23 radian angle.
