Man, holidays have been so jammed packed. Ever since last Monday, it's been non-stop, and I was so dead tired. Sleepover, band, work, dinners, movies, 21st parties, more parties, more work and today I have work and another party. Hard work my friends, hard work.
It's so tough trying to fit all your friends in. I've branched out quite a bit this year, and I'm grateful for all the different friend groups that I have. Today Jess and Sassy invited me to go shopping with them...why I don't know, cause I'm the worst shopper in the world. But I really wanted to meet up with them, but I can't cause I got work and no reliable transport and blergh. T_T
I suppose it's a good life though. I feel kinda guilty, cause my Dad's been driving me around, and I haven't helped out my mum at home with chores. Well, I guess I just want to cram everything in as much as possible before people start leaving..I started typing up all the people who are leaving, but I couldn't be bothered. I just want to wish them all a safe trip and have fun in Hong Kong or Taiwan, or wherever in Asia you are going, including Ah Ling here.
I won't write about all the events...except mention that swimming on Saturday was lots of fun. Janice, Jade, Shape, Tim and I went swimming at Monash wave pool. Janice, Jade and I did laps up and down the 50m pool. I was pretty tired after coming from work, but we did about 6 laps. Shape was checking out a lifeguard who I innocently was wondering what nationality she was *cough, and Janice made an excuse to touch some guy (the excuse was to stop him bumping in to Yun *rolls eyes) LOL. Anyhow...
I actually had a reason to blog, but now I've forgotten. Hope year 11's have fun tomorrow at their formal. I want photos Sassy and Jess! No doubt something crazy will happens at Shape's tonight, so I'll blog later.
I know You gave The world Your Only Son for us To know Your name To live within the Saviour’s love He took my place Knowing He’d be crucified And You lovedYou loved A people undeserving
To know Your name The blood of Jesus Christ redeems, Forgiven I’m alive, restored set free. Your majesty resides inside of me, Forever I believe Forever I believe
Arrested by Your truth and righteousness Your grace has overwhelmed my brokenness Convicted by Your spirit Led by Your word Your love will never fail Your love will never fail

Anyways lets do some reflecting on some really memorable times in 2007. U know.. it's really funny because dispite all the VCE and hard work and stuff, 2007 has actually been one of the best years in my life! heheh, i mean the friendships and events that u experience throughout your final year of school is sooo amazing!
New year eve out with everyone was cool! heeh, i can actually remember it pretty well. yeh it was mad, thanks to the person who organised it was really fun i mean to just get out of the house and watch the fireworks at docklands with a bunch of super SUPER cool peoples!!! hehe was good, was good.
Chinese new year with Catherine and Preet, ahahahah u guys are crazy!!! i remember going on such a scorching, HOT day and it was HOT! soooo freakin hot!! just to see some lions and dragons hahaha, but nah i'm glad i went, because u know, it was fun and yeh we ate dumplings at a super cool place and yeh was good =). Also Cat and i won a stuffed toy ahhahaha and yeh we called it ... welll i forgot but i know catherine is looking after it still, lol actually the whole year she's been looking after it lOL ahhahaha.
Going to the australian open with Michael and Edmund was cool! hehehe it was scorching as well! LOL and yeh i remember just going to vodaphone arena and just sitting there watching awesome tennis haha, yehhhhh oh man next year we're going to have to go again! LOL! Because tennis is the best sport in the whole wide world LOL, and i got to see Ana Ivanovic !!! one of my favourite players hehehe she was sooo cooL! hahaha
Anyways lets rewind back to the start of the year! CAMP was awesome, seriously it really was. i mean i know how it was all like, meant to be motivational speaking and stuff, but i personally enjoyed it heaps, it was like yeah a really good bonding experience and i think it's often overlooked these kinda events but yeahh i just thought it deserved a mention.
Amanda Bday dinner also comes to mind when i think about this year, hehe it was just sooo good! i mean like everyone was there and yeah bonding with new people such as Janice and Julian and Jade and Kristine, because they were all new and the dinner kinda drew us all closer together!! Also how can forget the filming and making of amanda's bday present! whoa the video took like seriously days to finish and thankyou janice and julian for helping me edit the movie =) hehehe I remember getting people to take amanda to the glen so that we can do some filming without her knowledge at school heheeh.
Hmmm... OOoooo speaking of that reminds me that another highlight was probably the glen lunch time thingies!! ahhaha, because i remember at the start everyone was soo like yay! the glen! heheeh but then after a while it kinda dies down but still just being able to go the glen kinda makes us feel .. oh yehh, we're year 12, we can get KFC while u suckers are still buying canteen food =P .... LOL nooo well not quite, but still some good times at the glen. - even though i think now we're all pretty sick and tired of the glen ahhaha.
Kristines Sleepover/movie night!! heheh, oh man i loved it!! hahaha just the whole thing was sooo relaxing hehe. I remember screaming with janice watching final destination 3 LOL while everyone else just thought we were soo random and weird hahahah! I also remember janice, being the food loving person she is, dripped sauce over kristines couch LOL hahaha... yeh hahaha funny moments. OOOOOohhh and who can forget the sleepover talking we all did!! LOL! yeah we had some hmm... erm..... pretty interesting convosations that we will never ever discuss ever again LOL as we made a promise that whatever we said in there would stay in there ROFL lol. But nahhhh that was really fun!
HMmmm after that i can't really remember much highlights, it's soo blury but i'm sure if i look through my personal blog page i will find some interesting entries heheehe. SOo yeh don't mind me while i may skip a few months forward or so...
The year 12 formal was nice!! yeh formals are always good, like u know everyone looked stunning and yeah it was just cool to see everyone like not in school uniform for a change hahaha and yeh, the venue was good actually, and yeh it was no doubt better then the year 11 formal heehehe
Okay.. lets see, My birthday was pretty fun, i enjoyed it heaps i hope everyone else did to! hehe. i mean.. come on i know my looop buddies teoh and ling will never forget 5 hours of singstar! LOL ahhahahah or was it even more? lol ahhaha Yehhh and thankyou alll seriously for the awesome presents u guys gave me! i mean really u aced them! thankyou thankyou!! heheeh and it was september time, i think first day of holidays hehee i remember that LOL.
GRADUATION OF COURSE!! nothing to really say, it was Graduation come on!! we worked soo hard for this moment hahaha it's a highlight for sure!!
Just recently, watching 30 days of night with Esther, Amanda, Julian, Qian, Edward and Kristine was FUN! hehe awesome. No really it was, i just loved that night, like the whole relaxed atmosphere and then going in to watch the horror and then screaming and getting paranoid and laughing and walking home in the dark and then crashing at julians and janices place hahaha it was awesome! a highlight for sure =)
Oooo and not recently, Teohs movie sleepover thingie was fun AS LOL ahhaha, we watched like 5 movies or something and yeh even though some of the movies weren't soo good it was enjoyable nonetheless, i mean sooo much food! and it was NICE food, it was awesome heheehehe and yeh movies and movies and then i think i'll always remember teoh and me screaming and jumping and gasping and telling ourselfs 'noo u stupid person!! don't do that' LOL ahahha it was fun as! i really want to watch more suspense/thrillers/horror with friends they soo fun to watch together hahaha!
Finally i have to say, getting to know esther really well this year has been such a memorable umm. event well gradual event. and yeh i think i can finally say that it's official is that umm yeh, we're going out now! yay! We've asked our parents and yeah even though it was scary at first but they said it was okay and yeh we're delighted!! ahhaha, so.... esther is my girlfriend! and she is soo sweet and kind and loving and wow she just makes me soo happy and i'm soo lucky to have her!! Soo yeah incase anyone was confused about my situation, no more confusion!! hahaha. This really makes me 2007 year really special for me!! i mean, i never really would of thought like... yeh i would have a girlfriend at the end of the year, but it's funny how the heart works and yeah was praying sooo hard to god about the whole relationship and yeh i'm just soo thankful that he always answers and guides me no matter what!!
okokokok last last highlight of my 2007! my spiritual growth for god! i think i've learnt so much this year and even though sometimes i'm finding it really hard to cope, i think what i've gained this year from city life church and epic youth and just from all my christian friends have like... just made my life soo much clearer and yeh! thankyou! to everyone, god is soo mighty, he is soo great and i will worship him forever and ever and he is always my number one in my life!!
Heheheh i'm sure like 2007 isn't quite over yet and i'm sure more awesome highlights are going to be happen hehe real soon! but yeah i just thought i would take some time to try to remember the events that really made my 2007 year quite special!! TEOH, LING! add to this if u have any events that you really really enjoyed!!!
for now, take care guys! enjoy ur holidays! this will be no doubt one of the best times of our lives!!!!!!
Hey guys, long time no blog. I've posted today specifically because: IT'S THE LAST DAY OF EXAMS! Myself, I finished last week bwahahha! Tim finished like two weeks ago. LOL. And then ah Ling finishes today haha. Ah poor chinese people. Anyhow, I've been wanting to post this picture up as a representation of our VCE Exams Itch (from Calvin and Hobbes):
We scratch when we finish our exams. And that's what freedom feels like people. The itch at the end is the Uni Itch apparently.
Yesterday was also my good friend Jess's (also know as caca) 17th birthday, so happy birthday jess. She didn't even remember when I asked her in band what she was going to do for it. Ah the stress of year 11 exams..pft =P Anyway, hope you had fun. Not that you read this blog. But sassy can pass it along for me.
We had a 'party' a few days back at my place..it was very organized. No sarcasm there, nooooo, uh uh. There was me, David N, Tim, Amanda, Jade, Janice, Julian, Grace and Edward, all in no particular order (I'm so important bwahahah). Anyway, we had a ton of food thanks to my mum..AND ME. Jeez, no one noticed I cooked food too. But I guess the majority of it was my mum anyway. So thanks mum and family, for putting up with us all. We watched movies, boy did we watch movies. We had a trip to the lake where we attempted to play with sparklers, except they died really quick. David N lighting like 99999 of them AT ONCE didn't help HAHAHA. But yes. Also, we have evidence that David N smells, because he had a cloud of insects flying above his head for like ten minutes. LOL. Dave, take a shower already. Amanda, Tim, Julian and Edward slept over and we watched 'thrillers'. Actually, Resident Evil 3 was like a bit boring. Hannible Rising, was soooo boring. DISTURBIA WAS SO GOOD. Okay, so the first half was some guy under house arrest perving on this hot girl next door. But then it got really freaky with the guy on other house next door in some murder mystery. Tim and I really enjoyed it, the others were asleep until Tim and I started gasping out loud. It was so intense we jumped when the guy just hit himself on a overhead pipe. Now I think I understand why Tim likes horror movies. They are quite fun.
Quoting me: "They're upstairs right? So the guy can't get through the windows right? So they should be safe ri-? OMGSHI-!" (baseball bat smashes through the door)
Speaking of mysteries, I went to the market the other day with my mum to buy flowers and veggies. And in passing, this asian girlsmiled and waved at me. Me, being shy and all being a dumbass and having memory loss and no glasses on at that moment (LOL), had no idea who she was and had no idea how to react. My first thought was: "There's someone behind me isn't there?" Then she like looking RIGHT at me. So I just sorta smiled back. But then now I'm really curious to know who it was. I could've been Hong I guess, but she looked younger. If anyone sees Hong, can you ask her for me if she was at the Carribean Market on Wednesday of this week?
Maybe it was just some random chick hitting on me.LOLOLOLOL *dies from laughing*
one more day and i can stop feeling bad about procrastinating cause for the chinese exam i can just sit in front of the chinese satellite all day and it'll still count as study imo oh man cant wait go go specialists maths exam two then i we can all dota together too cause we're all pretty much done woohoo and maybe i should start d2 again with the nez mod as well ahhhhh there's no end to this impending joy okay i'm going to go do my bound ref for spec now bbl friday night.
I initially assumed it meant touch the hat, but you can interpret it as you like
Man, I just realised how many of my friends' birthdays I've missed! The sad thing is, I've probably come on MSN to print of exam papers on the day of their birthday, and they've probably talked to me. And I was probably clueless (like I usually am) and I beg everyone's forgiveness for my absent mindness. You all have permission to 'forget' my birthday >.>
Anyhow, I just wanted to say a belated happy birthday to these people:
25th Oct: Yan. Man you didn't even say anything! Happy birthday man. I was looking forward to another char-covered barbie to cook on! =[ 27th Oct: Natalie. Hah! I remembered because I looked at my diary on the day. ^^ Happy birthday splat. But who I DID forget was Andrew Chiu! And I remembered I talked to you on the day and didn't say anything!!! T_T I feel so bad now. SORRY CHEWY! Happy birthday I LOVE YOU, well I would if you didn't play the clarinet but. 29th Oct: Henry! Didn't even mention anything for your birthday at tuition! Happy birthday. Bet you dota'd on that day. And every other day. Yesterday was Sassy's, so happy birthday Sassy =] And 8th Nov, our literature exam, is Lillian's birthday! So in case I forget in weighed down by the stress, happy birthday lantern! Now I'm covered~!
Sigh, speaking of stress, I'm so stressed out about thursday. Accounting and Literature. Two unknown subjects on how well I'll do. Ai. Back to studying.
Once again, apologies and belated wishes for many more =]
LOL! okk the bit where he cuts off his hand and then changes from a smily face to angry face just made me laugh soo hard lOL!... ur probably thinking i'm soo weird hahaha, but yeh maybe this explains why i'm soo crazy when telling stories..
LOL again when whipping the house elf i was like LOL!
I've just returned from my sister's primary school concert. Yesterday, I returned from the concert. For those who don't know, my sister Lee-ean is a music teacher at Glen Waverley Primary school, just this year. So she had to organize the concert, which granted was mostly done by the former teacher, (remember Forsycth primary buddies?) but she still had a lot of work to do. And it all paid off!
It really brought memories back, cause it was held at the same place when I graduated from there. The church around the Burwood 'Tech area', the intersection of Springy road. The turn out was really well, despite the tickets being $12 for adults! Really! The school's really tight. OUR concerts are only like $2 for an adult XD What we should've done is charged for the programs, cause my bro designed them (he's hardcore graphics person) and they were really nicely done. I'll put in a photo when I have the time. I was an usher, who got to know the secret evacuation plans if the building was on fire! I was excited going backstage looking at all the rooms that I would have to check for hiding children =3. I kinda half hoped there was going to be an emergency...XD
The performances, keeping in mind this is primary school, were quite entertaining. Some of the costumes looked really good, seeing as it was just like paper and cardboard and some foil for most of them. The theme was Out of This World or something like that. So there were stars, zombie monsters, sunsets, flying and walking on sunshine to name a few.
But what I wanted to write about is the perception I've noticed changed about teachers. From the beginning of school, teachers are seen as like a second parent. They teach you things that will most likely be with you for life. You always see them in that way every time you come to school.
Well this concert allowed me to have a new perception of some old teachers that are still there. Mrs.Woods, Mrs.Barnes and Mrs.Tomacheck(spelling?). Now that I meet them as a practically graduated (I have the certificate!), we meet on different grounds, and I see them as normal adults, instead of teachers. Seeing as my own sister is a teacher, that adds to the perceptive as well. You notice things about them you wouldn't of back then in primary.
On that note, I think of graduation night, where I was resting from 'dancing' at least attempting and with miserable failure, I talked to Mr.Nyugen who was funnily enough sitting on our table due a free seat =] And it was good, cause we talked about what was ahead, uni and such. But I got to know Mr Nug in a different perspective. He told me about his uni life, the clubbing and how you get bored of it within a few years. Being a teacher, it's hard getting free time, and I believe him. Teaching does seem like hardwork, not to mention putting up with kids like us who enjoy tormenting our teachers =] Anyway, he spoke of having dinner with friends, movies and alas, normal things! Teacher's are normal =O Shock horror~!
It makes me excited to know that even though you've seen something, it can change and become something else in the future. And now that I think about it, it's like me reading my Star Wars books a billion times. Everytime you read it, there's a new thing to discover. You discover some new piece to the plot that you didn't notice before. You discover why this happened in another book.
Life is exciting.
P.S GOOD LUCK FOR ALL THE SUCKERS PEOPLE WHO DO ENGLISH/ESL WHICH IS LIKE EVERYONE MINUS ME AND JASON (Ozzie one)

Holidays are soo sweet! seriously i love it! Hey guys, well it's been a while since i've last blogged on here, mainly because been soo busy going out and stuff and yeh i'm really loving it! gosh the feeling that vce is over is sooo amazing seriously!!! hehe. anyways, the piece above here is called to know your name by hillsong and yeh it's really such a sweet song!!!
I think i'll just link it here, if this work... hmm just testing, yehh listen to it! i love it soo much!! hehehe. Hillsong rocks hehee!
